Oak Park Arts District Business Association

The Oak Park Arts District (OPAD) is a vibrant business district along Harrison Street in Oak Park, Illinois, home to local galleries, boutiques, restaurants, and studios. The website serves as the district’s digital hub — connecting visitors, residents, and business owners through events, directories, and community updates.

What CORE Did

View Live Site

Challenges

  • Outdated Platform: The legacy WordPress site was slow, visually dated, and challenging to maintain.

  • Limited Content Control: Updating events, editing pages, or sending member emails required developer assistance.

  • Scattered Tools: Payments, membership management, and communication lived across different systems.

  • Cluttered Site Structure: Important information was buried, and the navigation wasn’t intuitive for visitors.
